Why choose Pavingstones over asphalt or poured concrete?

Brick pavers hold up extremely well under the harsh conditions doled out by Mother Nature. They won’t fade and are practically maintenance free throughout the seasons. When making the decision to use brick Pavingstones for your home project, whether it be a driveway, patio, or walkway, you are given an abundance of choices between colors, styles, patterns, and even textures. Brick pavers offer an endless amount of possibilities to help create that outdoor oasis you’ve always dreamed of.

Can Pavingstones be installed over existing concrete/asphalt?

Yes. Pavers can certainly be installed over existing concrete patios, walkways, and even asphalt driveways. However, if choosing to install your pavers over existing concrete or asphalt surfaces, proper measures need to be taken for drainage to insure your pavers remain stabilized and don’t end up shifting. Make sure to consult with a professional installer.

What is polymeric sand?

Polymeric sand is used in the application of brick pavers. Its primary function is to improve the interlock and durability of paving stones, decreasing movement of pavers over time. When installed properly, polymeric sand will remain in the paver joints and decrease weed growth and insect infestations.
